NIPPON — Japan, written in a single character: 生.

Look closely at the map on the back. Every island is made of words that grow from one kanji, 生 (sei / iki) — life, to live, to be born. 生きる, to live. 生まれる, to be born. 一生, a whole lifetime. 生花, living flowers. Dozens of them, hand-brushed in ink and color, gathered until they take the shape of the archipelago.

At its heart, a single red 生 — like the sun on the flag, like a quiet heartbeat.

A gentle reminder of something Japan has always known: a place is not its borders, but the lives lived within them.

Beneath the map, NIPPON with a red seal set into the O, and BrushForma's hand-brushed line, From Ink to Sky. A small BrushForma mark and seal sits on the chest.

Available as a crewneck sweatshirt, hoodie, or T-shirt in white, light gray, and sand.

A) Length

Place the end of a measuring tape beside the collar at the top of the sweatshirt (high point shoulder). Pull the tape to the bottom of the shirt.

B) Half Chest

Lay the garment down on a flat surface and measure it from left to right across the chest, about 2cm below the arms.

C) Sleeve length

Lay the garment down on a flat surface and pull the sleeve away from the sweatshirt. Measure the sleeve from the tip of the shoulder to the opening of the sleeve.

Measurements are provided by suppliers and garments may run smaller or larger with a difference of +/- 2.5cm (1 in)
