感 (Kan) represents sensitivity and awareness—the ability to feel deeply and notice what often goes unspoken.

An original Japanese calligraphy artwork, hand-written on traditional washi paper using brush and ink.
Each stroke is created in a single, unrepeatable moment—capturing movement, balance, and quiet intensity.

The natural texture of washi allows the ink to softly bleed and settle, creating depth and subtle variation that cannot be replicated. The artwork is finished in a soft ivory frame, chosen to complement the warmth of the paper and the minimal composition.

To ensure long-term preservation, the artwork has been cured using the traditional Japanese Urauchi technique (裏打ち)—a conservation process in which an additional layer of washi is carefully mounted to the back of the original paper. This method strengthens the artwork, improves stability, and helps protect it from warping or deterioration over time.
